The park that you are going to visit was founded in 1995 by the Beisel family, passionate about this type of plants, with a long tradition in the sector and owners of KAKTEENLAND STEINFELD, a botanic park specialized in Cactus, in the mentioned region of Germany.
This proyect started with great enthusiasm, in Gran Canaria because we have the best climate in the world and in San Nicolás because it has sold agricultural infrastructure that cannot be found anywhere in the world and near Europe. It was located in an area away from noise and crowded areas. We wanted to show nature in its purest state. Also with the firm conviction that this place was an economic revulsive that attracted visitors to the wonderful municipality of the village of San Nicolás, so forgotten for many because of the distance.
Once inside you can see the Mine, the homage to the ancient “Guanches” Caves, our Amphitheater with area for Canarian wrestling and game of the stick, etc., to finally tour the gardens, with more than 1.000 species. We recommend you to enjoy the walk with tranquility and time, to finally make a stop at the “Bar Caribe”, run for years by a couple of the area. There you will be able to taste typical foods, as well as natural juices of the diverse species of cactus of our own garden.
The many festivals and events that Gran Canaria has to offer will spice up your holiday. We have listed some entries for your holiday calendar so that you don’t miss out on anything …
